  • B1/B2 Visa

    Hey,

    Question if anyone can answer:

I applied for a B1 visa to attend a conference. At the interview I was given a 10yr B1/B2 visa. As it was a business visa application, I had given the dates of my conference as the expected length of stay in the USA.

With the B1/B2, I am now I am thinking of adding a four days extra to my business trip and see some friends while I am there.

Would this be frowned upon or is this acceptable?

    Thanks for helping!

But immigration officer at port of entry might ask for some documents and can give I-94 date only until that date.

    Else no issues.

        Yes.
        Business trip details etc.

But most probably they will not check.

Oh ok thanks, this is not a problem I will have all tickets booked and paid in advance arriving there so they will be on my person. I will also have all my business trip details with me.

One other question though, does it matter that I will visit them in another city than the one for my conference.

I can provide all address details if needed, thats not a problem.

          Thanks
