  • 6 month stay on B2 for parent

My mother has visited me (H1B) a couple of times before in 2018 & 2019. Her stay was for 2 months each of those times.

This time she landed in July and her I94 is valid till mid January. I am planning that she can stay with us for almost 6 months and leave before the I-94 validity expires. Does anyone know if there are any negative consequences for this long stay? Also if she stays for this ~ 6 months period then for how long does she have to wait before she can come and visit me again?

She was approved for 6 months, so she can stay for that time. No negative consequences.

Once she leaves, she can return within a month or a few days if she wants. However, this could raise a flag at the border as to why she came back right away
