  • Timelines and Biometrics in present situation

I just applied for my parent's B2 visa extension (online, cot receipt # instantly ... MCT203xxxxxx ... i believe this is Potomac Service Center, in Arlington, VA)

Processing Times for I-539 for this center as per USCIS site -- 2 - 4.5 months

Anyone has recent experience going through B2 extension? What were your timelines? Also, when exactly do they call for a Biometric appointment? Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Did you file I-539 application form online for their B2 visa extension? My parents B2 Visa and I-94 both are expiring in September 1st week and I filed I-539 forms for both of them. I am not sure if that form is enough or there are any other process such as DS-140 etc? Thanks.

Its fare to consider 3-4 months as normal processing time.

May be in first month itself.

      Just the I-539 is enough.
