Hi ,

My mom wants to visit US as a self -sponsored visitor . I have L1B visa . I am looking for an oportunity to go to US with an assignment but not yet fixed . So Can she show that as a reason along with travelling . In such case what are the documents shw would need to produce. In DS-160 what address in US she can show for stay ?

Please guide.

She would have to put the address of where she will be staying. If her intent is to visit you once you are in the US on the L1, she may want to wait until you have an L1 assignment and are actually in the US. For a visitor visa, USCIS wants to make sure that the intention of the applicant is not to immigrate. If she can not provide an address she would like to visit, this may cause problems.
