  • Paper work for Visitor Visa

    Hello All!
I have read almost everything on this site but was unable to find my answer, so if you guys can help me I would really appreciated!!

    here is my story:
I am US citizen got married to my husband from India. He came on fiance visa and we got married in Dec. 2009 here in US. now this year we are planning our first anniversary party and would like to invite my in-laws. We have everything but the only problem is that he has only been working since March of this year. We are showing my husband as sponsor but his income is not enough annually to sponsor his parents. Can I send in co-sponsor papers or would it all come under "joint" as b/c we are already married? I'm really confused.

Thanks A Lot for your help!!!

To make it simple, instead of your husband sponsoring them, you can sponsor them if you make enough money.

I would but doesn't it decrease the chances of them getting visa b/c they are my in-laws?

        Not really.

If your husband does not make enough money to sponsor people, how is that going to help?
