Mother's visa approved

Thanks a lot to immihelp.

Mother, a widow, got 1 year visa in April 03. Visited US in Oct. 03 and left in Apr. 04.

Fade to 1 year 9 months later: Mother, a widow, got 10 year visa.

I know others who got the visas under the same circumstance.

Hopefully, this will help those who think they are not getting visas because of single-parent status.
If this is true, then, as a corollary, all the both-parents cases should get visas.
