Dad's visa expiring in May and needs to attend wedding

My dad's visa is expiring in May and he needs to come to the US to attend a wedding in April. Do you think he would have any problems coming to the US for the wedding provided he leaves before his expiry date? I'm concerned that the immigration officers will deny him entry as his visa will be expiring within a month. Appreciate all your advice and comments.

He can certainly come and if he wants he may request a date beyond the visa as well. Legal stay is determined by I-94 given at the POE. Visa just needs to be valid at the time of entering.
