Visitor Visa

I am going to apply for Visitor visa for my parents. I am not working but I am studying. I have following questions.

In the list specified by immihelp for supporting financial documents there is a citation for income tax documents for parents. My father is retired and he is not eligible for filing income tax so he doesn't have any proof of filing income tax documents. What should he do in such situations?

Should the ticket be bought before Visa interview or is it okay not to take the iternary for the consulate

What about insurance? Should I buy before Visa interview or after?

Any help is appreciated.

My husband is sponserer. My only doubt is about my fathers income tax papers for which he does not fall under the bracket to pay tax.
