Extension of visa for parents pending

Hi everyone!

i applied for my morher’s extension on April 2020 before her I-94 expired on June and until now it is still pending. What happened was, she got admitted in the hospital and since she did not have insurance we were able to use the Charity and did not pay anything except for the ER physician’s fee. Do you think it might affect her application since they might think I, the sponsor does not have sufficient funds for her medical needs? Please help! Thanks!

That is a matter between yourself and the hospital. A quick google search would have told you its not an issue USCIS/CBP involves itself in.
