Question about Travel to US on a valid B1/B2

Hello,

Father lives in India. He has a B1/B2 visa that is valid until 2029.

1) Are visitors on B1/B2 with a valid visa able to enter US currently?

2) Are there flights operating from India to US? I am getting mixed answers here. If you or someone you know have travelled recently to US on a valid visa, please let me know.

1) Indian Nationals with a valid B1/B2 visa may enter the US. There is no ban currently. However, they should not travel through countries that have a covid ban.
I would encourage that they take the direct flight from India to the US if possible or transit through the mid east
(schengen countries, Brazil, China etc. are all subject to the ban)


2) Are there flights operating from India to US?
Yes. Look on makemytrip.com
AirIndia, United, Ethihad, and other middle easter airlines
