My parents just got a valid visitor visa to US . They are taking Quatar airways from hyderabad, India . This stops at DOHA, London transfer to virgin atlantic to JFK,USA . they need no get out of the airport and transfer to Virgin as it is in the same terminal . Travel agent said that transit visa is not required . But i was little sceptical as most of my friends say that there are new rules which have come in to effect after sep 11, 2000 . Do they need transit visa in this case? Any help is greatly appreciated .
