i am on L1 with my wife. I want to invite my parents for tourism purpose in march/april timeframe.
My parents and sister applied for tourist visa in July 2004. My Father is a executive in private firm, sister unmarried working in a private company. Counselate rejected visa on 214 (b) without giving any reason. I had sent all the documents as advised here.
Parents are applying the visa together and have a appointment on Feb first week. I was confused about the reason which i should give this time in the invitation letter.
My wife is also expecting in april. Some people advised me that i can send letter of her doctor stating that she would need help after her delivery in April. But i have heard stories, that counsal officer reject visa based on this, as they assume that the parents would babysit.
Second reason which i am thinking of is the the same tourism reason
Can someone please advise on how to go about this.
I am here on L1 , work in a very reputed company.
My father is about 62 yrs, mom is 57. Sister is unmarried, and would not accompany my parents to US.
