  • Parents on Visitor Visa?

I will be going to the US in August on an F1 Visa. My parents want to apply for a visitor visa so that they can visit me there. I have heard that if someone has a child living in the US, they are generally denied a visitor visa. Since my parents will be applying before I leave for the US, do they need to state this as their reason of visit.. ?

Also, what should be filled in the "do you have any relatives in the US" column of the DS-160..? Should that be a NO..? Since at the time of filling the form, I am not in the US.

Also, What should be filled in the "Point of Contact in the US" column and the "Address of Stay" Column, since I am not there yet, and I dont have any address yet.?
