  • Back-Back printing of DS-156 mandatory?

    Hi all,
I sent sponsorship papers(Form DS-156) for my parents. Unfortunately, I did not not print them back-back(silly me! Guess I glossed over the excellent documentation on this site). The notary notarised Page 2 in the space provided. Is it absolutely necessary for the form to be printed back-back? I just have 10 days before the interview. Do I need to resend?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sanjay.

I don't think it is a must to print the DS-156 back to back. Especially if you have less than 10days for the appointment, I suggest you not to worry much. Please do not rely on my suggestion, it is just my opinion.

sponsorship paper is I-134. It is not DS-156.

DS-156 is application to be filled by applicant.

      I-134 needs notary, not DS-156

      Which one did you notarize?

        Sorry. That should be I-134

Sorry, my mistake. I meant Form I-134.

Yes, you should print I-134 back to back.

Well, both my parents and mother -in-law got visa but I printed the I - 134 in 2 pages. The second page was notarised both times.

OK. Then it looks like it is fine.

But that is more like leaving it to chances.

If I were applying, I would not take chances.
