Help !Petition expiring !!!
hi,
my mother has an appt with consulate on feb 4th for visitor's visa.
i am here on an l1b blanket petition and it is expiring on the 20th of feb. i have applied for an extension, but it takes atleast 3 mths to get thoe papers in, so no chance of getting them before my mother's interview.
my visa is valid till march 05 and i-94 till 2007.
is the expiry of petition a reason for them to reject her visa? or will a valid i-94 be sufficient?
i was thinking that if the visa would definitely be rejected, i might as well cancel the appt, wait for my extension papers and then re-apply for an appointment.
plz help !!!! i am quite worried because of this
