i have a question...i think no one came across this situation and i would really appreciate if i get a proper solution for this.
My mothers name is padmavathi....when i applied for my passport i wrote the name as PADMA in the application and the name was printed as PADMA in my passport.But 2 years after when v applied for my mothers passport her name was printed as PADMAVATHI in her passport which is according to her certificates.
I got married last year and moved to US and now I am planning to apply for their B2 visa(tourist) and my question is will the name make any difference.Will it be a problem at the time of interview or visa stamping???
If I have to change the name in my passport waht is the process and how long will that take???
Please give me solution for this.
