B2 visa documents n funds

Hello,

I have a couple of questions for u. My in-laws have their B2 visa interview scheduled in a couple of days. If granted a Visa they will be staying with me and my wife here in US. But, I would not be sponsoring the trip, my Father-in-law would be taking care of everything himself. I need to know, firstly, do they need to present any documents of me and my wife during the interview, if yes what documents do i need to send them? Secondly, what is the minimum amount of money(funds) do they need to show in their account for the Visa to get approved?

Would appreciate any help regarding this from you.

1. Proof both of your legal status in the US.
2. There is no such minimum amount to guarantee the visa.
