Interview confirmation error - B1 instead on B2 on application

Hello,

I recently scheduled an interview to renew my B1/B2 visa but made an error while selecting visa category. I selected the B1 instead of the B2 and want to know if this invalidates or affects my interview in any way as I intended to enter B2 and not B1 into the form.

I would re-schedule the interview and fill the correct information but afraid I might get an interview date that is much farther away than the one I currently have. Is this error a grave one? Do I have to reshdule the interview with the B2 category?
