    L1B and visitors visa

    I hold an L1B visa. But for a few months, i am off work and need to visit my family members, also in the US.

    Can i change my visa to visitors visa? with this can i travel out of india and come back?
    and will i be able to still use my L1B visa after the visitor visa period.

    would be useful if i get some info on this...
