Hi,

My In-Laws attended VISA interview today. As both of them are well educated I took VISA interview in English. They were sceduled at 11AM but by the time there number came it was 4PM. Dont know what was the problem. When there no came, the VO just asked them 1 or 2 questions and gave 221(g) which says, "You need to come for interview on Sep 30th in Hindi".

There are two things now. They cannot talk Hindi but Marathi. How can we request consulate to change it to Marathi from Hindi.

can I change the date from 30th Sep to some earlier date?

Can some senior members give their inputs? I am planning to contact embasy office.

That is strange.

You can approach VFS and explain the situation to get the language changed to Marathi. I don't think you can change the date, but talk to VFS.
