  • Sponsoring B2 Visa when you are shifting company

Hello - I am sponsoring my in-laws to come to US on a B2 Visa. They are having their interview in middle of March. If I need to send them my payslips as a proof of my ability to sponsor them will it create a problem to have 1 payslip from my new company and others from my old company? Secondly, will a employment verification letter from my new company stating that I am their employee since 2 week be sufficient? Thank you very much for your time in advance.

    Hi,
    Please see my response below.
If I need to send them my payslips as a proof of my ability to sponsor them will it create a problem to have 1 payslip from my new company and others from my old company?
Answer: Nothing issue. As long as you maintain your status and on legal, it will not impact.
Secondly, will a employment verification letter from my new company stating that I am their employee since 2 week be sufficient?
Answer: Yes.. This is fine too.
    Thanks

there is NO such thing as 'sponsorship' for B2 visa applicants....none....zero....nada...whatever your situation might be in the US is for the most part, not relevant....a third party cannot make a POSITIVE contribution towards the outcome of a B2 visa interview...the COs do not care about you, your job, bank account or what kind of car you drive...they are ONLY interested in the merits of the applicant whom they are interviewing. I do not (and have not) understand why so many people believe otherwise.
