Reentry in USA

Hi,
Got visitor's visa for 6 months (multiple entries) and it expires in October. Returned India. If I go back again in Sept on same visa is it possible that they can grant i94 for another 6 months? Or they'll allow stay for next 1 month only?

It really depends upon the officer at the port of entry.

So wat do you suggest? Should I come on the old visa or i shd reapply for my visa right now to increase my chances?
