  • Deleted social media accounts in DS-160

    Greetings,

In the past 5 years, I've created some social media accounts but they are empty and moreover, I deleted them. If somebody wants to look at them, they will find nothing since they do not exist anymore. Should I list those deleted accounts when I fill the DS-160 form?

    Best Regards,

    Hi,
Per my knowledge, you can give only currently active account details. But if you prefer to share, Yes. You can list out them too.. Always accurate and truth Answer will help to go better way.
    Thanks

If you say that you have deleted all social media accounts, then it turns out that there is no up-to-date information for the DS-160. Nevertheless, if you are unsure about this, you can list these deleted data out of harm's way. In fact, I am very interested in how you are not bored without social networks. Where do you get the news and everything that happens in the world? How do you follow your favorite music group? Don't talk about the telly, because I won't believe it. For example, I cannot imagine my life without social networks. I run my business on Instagram, and I find clients there. . Yet now that time is such, it is difficult to imagine a person without an account on social networks. You can give all the accounts you've had just in any case.

Go into your settings and click Settings and Privacy. Then click Your ******** Information. From there, click on Deactivation and Deletion and choose Deactivate Account. Finally, click Continue to Account Deactivation and follow the instructions onscreen. myfiosgateway.com

If I have actively deleted them, I think it is not necessary.

I've been through a similar situation when filling out the DS-160 form. Even if the accounts are deleted, it's a good idea to list them just to be transparent. In my case, I mentioned the deleted accounts and explained that they were empty and no longer exist. It's all about providing accurate information. Best of luck with your application!

When completing the DS-160 form, it's important to provide accurate and truthful information. While your deleted social media accounts may no longer be active, it's advisable to list them if the form specifically asks for information about past accounts. Even though the accounts no longer exist, disclosing them ensures transparency and integrity in your application process. If there's a section where you're asked to list previous social media accounts, including those that have been deleted would be appropriate.
