I hope you can help.. I went to an immigration attorney and felt I got setup for larger costs so thought I would ask you.
The Facts
1. My 41 years old girlfriend lives in Bulgaria
2. She has worked for school system there 16 years
3. She owns an apartment
4. She has 12 year old daughter
5. I am natural born US citizen of 59 years
6. I own a business here
7. I am getting divorced after 28 years
8. I have know my friend for 2 years
9. I have gone to Hungry and Italy to visit her in last 2 years
10. We do NOT know if we want to be married
11. She does not like the idea of leaving Bulgaria
12. But I have convinced her to visit America and stray with me for 2-3 weeks max.
13. They later month I will go to Bulgaria
14. Then she may come back to America for longer visit, say month or more
15. During this time we will try to determine if we want to get married, which I am not anxious about.
16. The lawyer said that this is complicated as we are not definite on marriage so she would need a B-2 with an :annotation” about our possible relationship.
Do you have any suggestions or ideas please?
