I am a U.S. Citizen engaged to a Philippine Citizen.
She has applied for a Tourist Visa to visit the U.S. and been denied all 4 times.
I would like to see if she could get a 10 year multi - entry visa instead of getting a fiance visa or spousal visa if possible.
One of my friends who also is a U.S. Citizen tried to get his girlfriend at the time a Tourist visa and she was denied. They ended up getting married in Hong Kong as the U.S. recognizes marriage from Hong Kong. After they were married she applied for a tourist visa and was approved for a 10 year multi-entry visa.
Does anyone know if getting married in Hong Kong first and then applying for a Tourist Visa would increase the chance of getting approved for the Filipina?
(Again I understand the Fiance Visa and Spousal Visa's are easy to get but I am only talking about a Tourist Visa here to be clear)
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thx
