URGENT !!!!! Inperson or dropbox option for B2 visa

My mom's visa expired last year June 2020. I am trying to get her US B2 Visa renewed. Will she have to go to the consulate to get the Visa or she can use dropbox option. She doesnt know English and is a widow. Please help

Hopefully she can use the benefit of Drop box facility.. Please make note, If her visa expired within the last 48 months then she will be eligible.. Anyhow, Please follow the process like filling DS160, Making payment and schedule appointment for dropping off the documents.
