Translator related question

Hi,

My mother and nephew have an appointment in Feb at Mumbai Consulate for a visitor's visa.

I did not see any option to choose a translator when making the appointment. Now, the appointment has also been confirmed. My mother speaks no English, and my nephew speaks good English. How do I go about requesting for a translator now? Or can I rely on my nephew, aged 10, to do the translation?

Any help is really appreciated.

Try to schedule new appointment if possible.

Else, try to request at the time of interview and hope for the best.
