Can an Indian national on Australian Student Visa travel to USA on a Visitor Visa(B1) from Australia?

Hi,
Yes you can. this is called apply as Third country national. Please check concern Embassy website, they are accepting third country national visa applications then proceed ahead. Please note, there is questions you can expect during Visa Interview regarding applying visa in third country. If you already have visa, just travelling from third country other than home country, at the time of port of entry you may expect questions from Officer.
