hello,
I'm a US citizen and I've been living here for almost my entire life. My mother has lived in eastern Europe for most of her life, but recently has developed medical conditions and is under a lot of stress from being alone.
I want to get her a visa and bring her here temporarily until I can apply for her to become a citizen (I'm not 21 yet so I cannot do this until then).
However, the American embassy in her country is closed for interviews because of covid. 192.168.8.1
192.168.100.1
192.168.0.1
Is there absolutely any way for me to get her a visa? I've heard of people contacting their congress representatives in order to cut through red tape, it might have a low chance but is there any way they could do something? I have some "achievements" and am active in my college community, work full time as well. not sure if this would help if contacting the congress representative would be an option.
any advice appreciated thank you.
