My mother is aged 49 years and is a widow. She has been rejected for the visitor visa U/S 214 [b] TWICE.
Our situation: I am working in US on H1 visa and my brother just completed his studies. I have one sister who resides in India. We wanted her to come to US to attend his graduation and spend some time with me and my husband.
She was asked the following questions 1st time:
1) why do you want to go to USA
Reply: Attend son's graduation, Tourism, visit daughter and son-in-law
2) how long do you want to go
She was asked the following questions 2nd time:
1) why do you want to go to USA
Reply: Attend son's graduation, Tourism, visit daughter and son-in-law
2) what does your huband do:
Reply: He passed away in 2000
This time she was a little aggressive meaning she tried to show the Affidavit documents which listed her property, savings etc. and also her picture with her mother-in-law as she has been taking care of her old mother-in-law and hence needs to go back to India but the officer wasnt ready to see anything just asked her to leave.
My question:
Is it worth to try and apply the 3rd time with the same case details i.e. same reason for travel etc. Looks like most likely her visa would be reject the next time too. any thoughts?
Any suggestions for what we can do different would truly be appreciated.
