Documents needed for visitor visa

Hi

I am planning to bring my father and sister's family to the US. They have the interview in Feb 2005. I would like to know:
1) the documents needed to be submitted to the US consulate.
2) I never found anywere about the necessity of I-34 document when I searched the travel.state.gov website. What is the use of it and is that necessary?

The website you referred to - travel.state.gov - contains

instuctions for individuals wishing to visit the US without a sponsor.

I-134 is the Affidavit Of Support submitted by you, the sponsor. To prove that you can support the folks that you would be sponsoring.
