In 1988, I went to the US on a tourist visa and overstayed for nine years. I never got caught and went back on my own in 1997.
It was before the age of biometric passports, and I haven't left my home country ever since.
My question is; can I go as a tourist to other countries like Canada or UK and other countries? I've read on the net that information about people who've overstayed their visas is shared between countries, and people who'd overstayed their visa in one country can get in trouble when landing in the airport of another country.
