difference in surnames.

HI,

My mother attended for visa interview recently ,unfortunatley it got rejected becoz of mismatch in the surnames of my sister's name and my mother's name.
Now we have a certificate from Regional MRO(Tahasildaar) approving that both the surnames are belonging to same family and one can be called with both the surnames.
Unfortunatley My mother could not show this document to the visa officer on interview date,
Could you please suggest whether my mother can re apply for visa again with the MRO issued certificate.

If reason for rejection of her visa is for this reason only, then she can re-apply and show the letter to VO. How did you come to know the reason for rejection?

Hi Thanks for information,The VO told that because of the mismatch in the surname they r not issuing Visa.

Hi Thanks for ur previous reply,Now we have re applied for visa for my mother,but I have forgot to mention these two surname details in DS 160,but we have all the documents and affidavits with enough prrofs.
Not mentioning in DS 160,will it cause any problem.Please advice Interview is on 9th Sep

Hi Thank you,
Yesterday 9th sep my mummy attended visa interview,and she got visa.she just shown mro certificate to VO.
They did not ask many questions all 4-5 very regular questions.
