  • Bringing my 2 year daughter (US citizen) from India

    Hi,

Currently my 2 year daughter (US citizen) is in India with my in-laws. My in-laws are planning to bring her here next month. 2 years back my mother-in-law visited US for 6-months and father-in-law didn't come to US even though he had visa because of some last minute office work. They are going to visa next month. I really appreciate if anyone can answer the following questions:

    1. In I-134, should i mention my daughter's name in Q-3 since she didn't need US visa and Q-8 ?
    2. Will the chances of getting visa increases or reduces if they mention (voluntarily not lying) that they are going to US to drop my daughter here and for toursim?

    Thanks in advance
    kp

Should my in-laws take my daughter to the interview?

Why should we include my daughter's name in Q-3 ? She is US citizen and she is not going to interview for visa. When my in-laws scheduled for interview, we didn't include my daughter's name.
Please let me know if this is OK

      Thanks in advance

Thanks for the response.. Yes I aggree that I need to

          include her name in Question-8.
          1) But do we need to include her name in Question-3? My daughter will not be going to consulate with my in-laws.

          2) Since she is US citizen do we need to mention her name in Q3?

          Thanks in advance

            1 & 2. Don't include her name in that.
