Need information regarding B2 for parents

Hi,
Can my parents sponser their own visa to US?
If they can ,do we still need to send any documents from our side?I dn't know if there is any column in the new DS 160 which wants information regading any child living in US.My father is still in service.

2. Just send them the invitation letter and proof of your legal presence in the U.S.
