Urgent Query: Complicated...Plz help!!

Hi,

I have a valid UK work visa and have travelled there once. Presently, i am neither working in UK nor in India. I need to travel to US on the occasion of my brother's marriage.
Will UK tier 1 visa reduce my chances of going to US?
Is brother's marriage a valid reason for granting me a visitor visa?

Work visa is not an impediment for US visitor visa. You need to prove that you have stong financial and familial ties to the home country or outside US.

The reason for visit may not impact the ability to get the visa provided you prove beyond reasonable doubt that you will return back from US at the interview.
