Mom's visa rejected with 214(b)

Hi,

My mom has given B2 visa interview on 1st sep 10 but visa officer denied the visa with 214(b) reason, although they havn't asked any question related to mom's property and financial condition, below are the questions.
1) why you want to go to usa
ans visit my son and for tourisum

2) where you son work
and mom mentioned company name but she has mentioned incorrect name instead catalyst she has mentioned patalyst.

3) give me your sons passport papers.
and mom has given all the 36 pages copies to officer

"sorry we cannot give visa to u"

Here is my question
1) my visa is getting over in another 4 days now but h1b valid till 2012 but did they refused her visa based on my stamping

of because she has mentioned incorrect company name

2) since they have given 214b, i m expection some financial question this time so please give me some hits on it.
my mom has very good financial conditions but visa officer should ask her about it.

3) What should be the answer for " why u r going to usa" (my mom is widow but rest three elder brothers are in india only)

4) my in- laws was here for 3 months, should she mentioned in interview?

My mom second interview is on 20th Sept again please send me some hints before 20th sep

Hello,

My parents also got rejected on 8th sept in delhi consulate on the basis of 214(b). My one sis lives with them. Me n my brother are here. I am thinking of reapplying only for mom this time. Their is one question in DS-160 "Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the point of entry?". Can you please tell me what to write in this?
