Hello everyone,
Hope you are doing well. I need some advice.
My wedding is in December and I will like my parents and my young brother to attend. I became a US citizen a year ago.
My parents have visited me twice before for my graduations so I believe it will be easy for them to get a visa ( then I was a green card holder).
However, this time they will apply with my younger brother. My sister and her husband will apply separately, they have stable jobs so I am not worried for them. But I am worried for my brother. He is 22 years old and a student in a neighboring country where he is studying at an expensive school on a student visa. He has been denied student visa to the US two times about 4 years ago before he decided to study somewhere else. By the time of the interview he will only have 9 months left to complete his degree. So he will definitely go back after the wedding.
The reason we want him to apply with my parents is because he does not stand a chance if he applies alone. We hope that the fact that my parents have previously had a tourist visa will help. And that me being a citizen could also be a bonus. But all my family will be applying and I will like to know what we can do to ensure that he also gets the visa. His strong ties are his school and a property that my father has in his name.
My father owns a company he can sponsor my brother and mom. I also have a good job and a property and can sponsor if that is better.
Is there anything we can improve or do differently? I will love for my entire family to be here on my special day. It should be too much to ask isn't it?
Thanks in advance!
