Hi,
My Mom's visitor visa application was rejected twice (once on March 2003 and once in May 2003).
My queries are :
1. I read on this website somewhere that she need *NOT* wait for two years to re-apply. Is that true ? Is there a link on INS website that confirms the same ? Last thing I want is for them to travel all the way to Mumbai to find out that they cannot apply before May 2005 ( 2 years from the last refusal).
Can someone please point me to an official INS document that is related to the above situation ?
2. My Mom's visa was refused on both times with the reason 214(b) [ not enough docs to prove that she will return to her home country).
How should she proceed in this scenario ? They did not even look into any documents she took with her.
In her first appearance, she was asked : What does your husband do ?
In her second appearance, she was asked : What circumstances are changed since the last time you applied ?
So, if she applies now, would she be her approach ? Any ideas ?
3. Is there any advantage in using a 'visa consultant' or a 'interpreter' ?
Any inputs would be much appreciated.
Thanks..
