Visitor visa - Last name typo

My mother is going for Visa interview in India.
There is a typo in my mother's passport for last name.
It's letter 'V'[mother's passport] vs 'W'[my passport].

Last name in my passport : nawab
Last name in my mother's passport : navab

Is it going to be a problem for stamping?

Please advise.

As long as her name is consistent in all her documents, it is not a problem.
