Surname/Given name in DS160

Hi,

I have a question regarding filling the DS160 application.

I would like to invite my parents to visit us for tourism purpose and both of my parents have only GIVEN NAME and they do not have Surname (hence, in passbook that portion is blank).
What am i suppose to fill in online DS 160 form (as the system does not allow us to proceed if we do not give surname.. )
(Hence i have filled as SNU in their Surname filed... is it ok!

I have filled the application for my mother first and at the end before electronically signing in, i got the doubt and wanted to seek your help).

Because i have (i am in US) filled the application for my parents.. do i have to sign and send that form to my parents for signature????.. so for, i did not go up to that level !!!

Kindly find the attached pdf copies of the final review of the application and suggest me the appropriate solution.. or It would be a great help if you let me know the phone numbers i can contact..

First Name = FNU
Last Name =Gowramma

You can electronically sign and submit on their behalf.

Plz clarify my dobt..

But in the application they ask for
Surname and Given name. not First name and Last name.

Do you mean, we can treat
Surname as First name
Given name asLast name

Because, when i entered US... and filling I 94 form
they told me to enter

Surname as Last name
Given name as first name

Kindly find the attached visa and I 94 of mine..


Don't you think it would create problem!!!

I know that
surname = last name
given name = first name

But when you don't have last name and have only first name, that first name becomes the last name, and first name is FNU.
