Mother name not matching in passport for Visitor VISA

Hi,

I am planning to process visitor visa for my in-laws. They have already having passports and I found the below problem.

In-Laws names are not matching in my wife's passport.

My wife passport is having:

Mother Name:
First Name: VIJAYA LAKSHMI
Last Name : VALISEKKA

Father Name:
First Name : Bhaskara Reddy
Last Name: Valisekkagari

My Mother-in-law passport is having:

First Name: Lakshmi Narasamma
Last Name : VALISEKKAGARI

Father-in-law passport is having:
First Name: Bhaskara Reddy
Last Name : VALISEKKAGARI.

Is there a way to correct these before going for visa appointment?
Your help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Whosever name is printed wrong in the passport, that person should get their passport corrected.
