Observerships in the US (confusion of appropriate status)

Hello, can anybody confirm this? I want to do observerships in the USA for medical residency purposes. I have F2 visa. These observerships require only shadowing the doctor, no hands-on whatsoever but you can get a performance based letter of recommendation in the end. Am I permitted to do this? Or do I have to change my status to B1/B2 or something.

They've loosened up the constraints on F-2. I suspect you can do the observership, but you'd be best to clear it with the institutions involved.

You can become an observer as far as I know now there are no restrictions. I wanted to ask for advice, soon I will have to write a medical fellowship personal statement , but I have never written such applications before, can someone tell me where to find an image of such a letter, only a real person, because everything I find doesn't suit me. Ideally, I need a letter from a person who was able to get a scholarship.
