Parents name not matching in my passport

Hi,

I am planning to get my in-laws to US and start processing the visitors visa. But both of their names in my wife's passport is not the same.
We are not sponsoring them. They are sponsoring themselves. Will it be difficult if their name is not the same in my wife's passport?
Can you please suggest me on this and help me out
