Hello,
I am in the process of filling the DS-160 for my parents for B2 visa.
My father had his own business until 2010. He owned a pharmacy store. But, he chose to shut down the store in 2010. And, is leading retired life since then. He owns a residential property and gets rents from them.
1. What should I put as 'primary occupation' in the DS-160 form? 'Retired' or 'Other' or 'Unemployed' ?
2. If I put 'Retired', no details are asked. So, how can we show any monthly income for them?
3. If I put 'Unemployed', , we need to specify the reason for 'unemployment'.
4. Should I put 'Other' and specify he gets monthly income from rents?
Please provide some suggestions on what would be the right option to chose as primary occupation for him.
