  • sending scanned documents for b2 visa

My parents have their interview at Chennai consulate in a couple of days. I sent them all the documents by EMS (USPS) last week, and they still haven't received them. So I scanned all the documents and emailed them today, so that they could take print outs and present them at the interview. Is this allowed/ accepted? What would be the best course of action to follow next, in case a problem should arise? Would appreciate an immediate response, thanks!

Try to send the documents with some one who is leaving from here so that they can be reached by time. why to take a risk with the scanned documents.

If there is no chance of sending them again wait for someone to answer your question if its acceptable or not.

I don't think this is acceptable.

It typically takes lot of time to get an appointment.

May I ask why did you wait until the last moment?
