How to get my passport back if I have a flight in one week?

My USA tourist visa was approved, however it looks like the processing time is 2 weeks.
I have a flight to another country in one week and I would like to know if it is possible to get my passport back on time, for my trip?
Or if it is possible to resume the Visa stamping or re-apply after I come back form my trip, so that I can get my passport back ASAP? Thanks
