Can i apply for tourist visa or F1 student visa while my i-130 is in process?

I am a resident of Bangladesh and I got married to a US permanent resident. He is going to apply for my spouse visa through i-130. As it takes long time to get the approval, I want to visit him in the meantime using tourist visa or I want to go usa for higher studies.

Can i apply for tourist visa or F1 student visa while my i-130 is in process? Whats the approval rate scenario?

Hi,

I wouldn't apply any other visa while one visa is in process.

I had my H1B visa in process and I applied visit visa (I am British national, my parents are US national). I got straight denial because one visa is in process.


I wouldn't recommend to apply any other visa when one is in process. Unfortunately this is how system works with US
