I'm currently in L1 visa in US. I'm planning to process B2 visa for my parents at India.
I recently found that my place of birth is different from my birth certificate and passport.. How big the issue will be, while processing a B2 visa for my parents.
Does US consulate seriously match the place of birth of the sponsor, while processing B2 visa.
I traced that in order to get my place of birth updated in my passport - I need to get Original documents + Declaratory order form local magistrate. These documents has to be presented at Indian emabassy at US to issue a new passport with correction.
I'm just wondering whether I should do all these steps OR just give a shot with this existing documents for B2 visa. Thoughts ?
