My mother has a 10 year visitor visa valid until 2008 on which she has travelled to US several times. Recently she legally changed her name to add a last name (earlier she had no last name). She has now obtained a passport in her new name. Her new passport mentions her old name as the prior name. My question is, Can she travel to the US using the existing visa on her old passport? Will it be enough if she just carries both passports and all the legal documents regarding her name change? Thanks in advance for your prompt response.
